So how does this work?

1. Anonymously post a short prompt. It could be shippy, porny, weird, fluffy, angsty, gen, or whatever else your heart desires.

Remember that a short, open-ended prompt is easier to fill than something highly specific. E.g. "What if Buck and Eddie had exhibitionist sex at the gym?" is more likely to get a fill than "What if Buck and Eddie had sex at the gym, Buck came first, then someone walked in and they never spoke of it again. After a slow burn, they get together while Maddie is giving birth to her and Chimney's third child."

2. If you see a prompt that strikes your fancy, anonymously fill it. Your fill could be 200 words written straight into the comment box, or it could be a multi-part epic. Multiple fills for one prompt are not only acceptable, but awesome.

Note: Deanoning your fic, or posting it to your namespace AO3, Tumblr, Twitter, or any other account, is completely fine, but please wait a week or so to do so, so it can belong totally to the kink meme for a bit. Kink memes are not only for fic, they are also communities; we want to celebrate your fic that you made for this community for a bit before it's released into the wider world.

Second note: Deanoning is NOT required. Your fic can live as an anonymous fill for as long as you please. :)

3. If you post a prompt, try to fill one if you can!

4. Comment on things you're excited about and start discussions. The conversations can be the best part of being on a kink meme! And part of the benefit of being on Dreamwidth is that we are all completely anonymous, so you can deep discuss anything you please without shame.

5. Don't troll, wank, or start discourse. If you don't like a prompt/fill, scroll on past and post something you do like. Treat people well. Harassment will be deleted with prejudice. If you see someone treating people poorly, you can report it here.

Edit: Feel free to post prompts for RPF ships. Let's make sure to only prompt about actively famous people, not relatives or friends of famous people (unless they're famous in their own right), and avoid RPF prompts about real life minors.

Second Edit: Just a reminder to be careful to write out "omegaverse" or "alpha/beta/omega" instead of using the letter abbreviations, as it's a very nasty slur in some parts of the world.

Last week, Ryan posted a food baby picture. Oliver saw it and discovered a new kink (either him getting off in secret and feeling guilty or it turning into a hookup with Ryan).

basically "oh my god you're alive" desperate sex after either/both of them are in some kind of danger - maybe an NDE, maybe Hen is in the middle of a rescue and something goes wrong, maybe Karen is in danger and Hen rescues her, or whatever else you come up with.

Just him and Eddie, at home together, intimate and excited for their baby (or for a little more excitement: waited too long and the baby comes in the car on the way to the hospital, or they took a nice gentle hike to kickstart labor and it worked a little Too well and the baby is born right there on the trail)

Buck sleeps with Shannon and/or Kim, when he really wants Eddie, whether he knows it or not.

Or Eddie sleeps with Tommy or Taylor or another of Buck's exes because he can't or won't admit he wants Buck.

I remember seeing this idea in the Ted Lasso fandom and thinking it works so well for Buddie:
Buck is friends with a drag queen, and Eddie is good friends with the 'normal guy,' and they don't realize they're friends with the same person, just in and out of drag.
When Eddie realizes, it breaks his brain a little bit, and breaks him out of the closet.
Up to you what Eddie does with the reaction: He sleeps with the drag queen? He gets with Buck? He realizes he wants to try drag? He convinces Buck to try drag and then sleeps with Buck?

ok i've literally been thinking about how eddie would be such a great drag queen.

maybe tommy is so goddamn critical of eddie, because maybe tommy *gets* buck a little too well. because during gerrard's original tenure, tommy was closeted but maybe a little a lot in love with his partner, sal. who is straight. and married. and absolutely happy to fuck around with tommy on the downlow anyway.

There aren't enough WG fics in this fandom and especially not for Buck. Would love a fic that focuses on him gaining weight over time, preferably with Eddie feeding him and helping him get bigger in one way or another. He can end up as big as you're comfortable with as long as it's a notable gain.

A scenario where Buck and Eddie go to Vegas (or any gambling place), and Eddie gets turned on seeing how good Buck is at gambling, leading them to fuck.

I think Eddie deserved to get fucked against one of the windows in the loft before we lost it.

The cold of the glass against hot skin, the thrill from the mild risk of someone seeing what they're doing, and the way they'd leave an imprint of smudges hinting at what they'd done.

Buck's place is usually pretty neat and clean, and Eddie knows it's as much a product of his controlled childhood (mainly throughout the living space) as Bobby's influence (mostly seen in the kitchen and bathroom).
But maybe because of these very different motivations, there are some strange gaps in Buck's routine. For instance, the top of the vent hood? Pristine, and not just because Buck's tall enough to see and easily clean it, but because it's one of Bobby's pet peeves.

The kitchen and bathrooms floors are swept and mopped often enough Eddie might genuinely consider eating food off Buck's floor, if he had to choose a friend’s floors to eat off, although maybe that's not a fair choice, since Eddie would probably choose his best friend regardless for pretty much any preference.

But there are dust bunnies in vast multigenerational colonies under his bed and dresser, and Eddie's had to help and improve his laundry routine, and outside of the firehouse, he's not sure Buck's ever cleaned a window. He cleans mirrors, sure, because they're obvious, but the loft’s building management cleans the exterior windows, and Buck doesn't seem to think the interior of his glass-walled house really needs to be cleaned. Hen and Chim liked to tease Buck about it, when they were all staying here during the Covid era, and Eddie got in the habit of checking and periodically cleaning the windows then, to be helpful.

So it's not that unusual for Eddie to spend a few moments evaluating the windows between the kitchen and living room, the next time Buck's cooking for him. With Chris off in Texas, for who knows how long, Eddie doesn't like to linger at his own home anymore, and at first that was tough, when Buck was busy dating Tommy and Eddie had to come up with his own plans by himself or be a third wheel, but now that Buck and Tommy are sort of on-again-off-again, casual, Buck's loft is back in Eddie's regular rotation.

Buck's chattering away, like always, and Eddie was listening, until everything sort of faded out, white noise and misty edges, as Eddie focuses on the weird marks on the window. They're at his eye level, just about, so they're likely not from Jee, who's the main contributor to window marks, and they're in two main spots, with several streaks, so it's not just a shoulder bump or something like that.

Eddie tunes back to Buck's monologue in time to hear that dinner’s almost ready, so he tries to ignore the marks and help set the table.

They eat, and Eddie even gets up to get a refill and purposely changes seats just so he can have a view of the window again and ponder what caused the strange marks. They could be outside, if the window washers made them, otherwise they're too high and too far off the balcony for someone to reach. Buck's talked about birds impacting glass before, during one of his green tech Wikipedia deep dives, but he'd said then that it's nice that so few birds ever seem to impact his windows, so it's unlikely to be that.

They chat idly as they finish eating, discussing upcoming plans, and ultimately decide to stay home tonight. Eddie invites himself over, since he usually stays the night on Buck's couch when they hang out, the way Buck used to spend the night on his couch, Before. Now, in the After, Eddie is the one making up the couch in the morning after a sleepover, and finding excuses to stay longer. He never minded when Buck stayed over night after night, so he's just hoping Buck feels the same way, especially now that date nights with Tommy aren't regularly scheduled interruptions in their routine.
Eddie helps Buck load the dishwasher, and replaces the trash bag, and Buck ducks into the hallway to drop the trash into the chute.

Eddie circles back to the window with the puzzling marks that are conveniently easier to see with the different late evening lighting.

It has to be hand marks, he's pretty sure. Spacing- and height-wise, it's the only thing that really makes sense, but why would Buck, or any other adult, put both hands fully on the glass, and then, what, scrabble around to leave several long finger streaks? It doesn't make any sense. There's even a smudge between the two hand print spots that could be where a face pressed against the glass, and it confuses Eddie further at first.
Then he has a brief flash of picturing Buck, as excitable as Jee, leaning against the glass, hands and face pressed up, and peering out to look at a passing helicopter. When Buck first started dating Tommy, he'd text photos of every helicopter they ever saw with silly captions to Tommy. The rest of the 118 got into it, too, texting Buck their heli-sighting pics for him to send to Tommy, because of course Chim thought that was hilarious and of course Hen and Karen are both amazing at details and inside jokes like that. Eddie’s not sure why he basically never participated in that little game, unless Chris saw one and wanted to snap and send it, although Eddie did once text a photo of one of those coin-operated rocking toys for kids at the entrance of a grocery store in the shape of a helicopter, and thought that was pretty hilarious.

Okay, so maybe Buck, rushing to see a passing chopper, leaned against the glass to get a good look, pressed full up against the glass, and that's all it is.
Eddie's still considering the marks when Buck gets back inside and asks what he's staring at.

“I was just noticing these hand marks on your window here. They're because of Tommy, right?”

Buck blushes and looks away as he says, “Well, my hand prints, but yeah.”

Eddie didn't think Buck was that tangled up about their sort-of breakup, but he must be somewhat embarrassed to react like that.
“Yeah, I figured they were your hands here. C'mon, Buck, it's fine, it's, y'know, cute even.”

“Cute??”

“Yeah, just, picturing you here up against the glass.”

Buck chokes on the sip of water he's just taken, over at the kitchen island.
“I, uh– Eds, man, I don't know wh- what to say to that.”

“What's there to say? I'm just trying to compliment you, here, Tommy's not really part of this mental picture, but it's, like, fun to imagine you so excited?”

Buck looks stunned.
“You're imagining that? I mean, you– you're imagining me against the glass?? Excited??”

Eddie shrugs. “I'm obviously not imagining Tommy there.”

Buck still seems struck dumb, so Eddie slides closer to the window and puts his hands and face to the glass, only just noticing the height is a little low, as though Buck must've been leaning down a bit, crouching maybe?

Buck's drifting closer as Eddie positions his hands and face along the marks, and when Eddie tries to get the height right, Buck walks closer behind him.

“Eddie, Eds, you're not messing with me right now, are you?”

It hurts to notice how rattled Buck apparently is from all the Tommy fallout, from the freaked out way he's reacting, and Eddie feels extra guilty to have not even picked up on this. He's not even sure where he's misstepped, exactly, in this conversation, so he's not clear on how to reassure Buck, but he looks over his shoulder at him, and tries to look sincere and fond, because that's how he feels about his best friend.
“Buck, you can always tell when I'm pranking you, and that's not what I'm doing here. I'm just–”

Buck slips even closer, and he seems to be moving past whatever was bothering him.
“You're just teasing me. Is that it?” Buck settles his hands lightly at Eddie's waist, almost on his hips, and it's kind of weird for them, but then again, if he's just trying to recreate the scene, then maybe that's why he's leaning closer to Eddie?

“You're gonna show me, Buck?”

Buck inhales sharply and drops his head down against Eddie's back. They stand there for a moment, until Eddie shifts back to get out of Buck's way, and Buck instead follows his motion and tugs Eddie's hips further back, with his wide hands solidly across Eddie's hips, gripping tight. He steps up against Eddie, kicking between Eddie's feet to spread them further apart, and Eddie tilts further against the window to keep his balance. He's no longer sure what's happening, why Buck's manhandling him to demonstrate rather than standing against the glass himself, but Eddie's now the one struck dumb, caught inhale at being so easily maneuvered around, and how huge Buck feels behind him, against him. Eddie's always been bigger than any girls he got close to like this, so the only thing that feels sort of analogous are street fights, and maybe that's why his heart’s suddenly pumping faster and his breaths are short and shallow, and he can't think of anything but all the places Buck's touching, or nearly touching, against him. Buck usually runs cold, so he intellectually knows Buck's hands probably aren't noticeably warm on his hips, but somehow it feels like every point of contact is hot like burning.

They are in love and happy together, but Buck worries Eddie will leave again and Eddie still doesn’t feel like he deserves happiness, so they stumble their way into a breakup, making their worst fears a reality. But they are so stupidly in love so they make up.

Chimney is captain and Maddie finds that super sexy and they have sex in the captain’s office.

i really want some toxic buddie where buck lets his bad impulses win and he manipulates/sabotages eddie into staying in los angeles. of course he helps him work on getting chris back but he wants eddie to be fully under his control and do whatever he wants. feel free to get dark with the manipulation like maybe he gaslights eddie, drugs him strategically, conditions him to want buck's approval, whatever. at some point this gets sexual like maybe he takes control of when eddie is allowed to orgasm just for one possibility. dubious consent is fine with me but i'd rather it not be fully nonconsensual where eddie isn't into buck at all.
